Other Characteristics: *Hakkai's right eye is a fairly realistic fake.
*He wears three small ear cuffs on his left ear. They're youkai power limiters for any who could sense that they aren't just normal jewelry.
*Hakkai is a master of qi-gong, a martial arts technique which specializes in harnessing the power of one's chi and using it for defense and offense. At Landel's, his chi use is limited, but he still has the physical movements which makes him a dangerous, though very human, opponent.
*What little access he does still have to his chi gives him some minor shielding and healing abilities. He can't reattach limbs, but he can stop bleeding and such. Hopefully, the healed party will then be kind enough to catch him as he passes out. He also makes a fairly effective human flashlight when he wishes.
Series: Hakkai is from the manga Saiyuki. Some things are borrowed from the anime, especially in regards to his past, but he is mainly manga-verse. He comes from canon during the battle between Hakkai and Seiten Taisei in Reload. (lightning rod!Gato FTW!!!)
Status: skin next to right eye stitched up from pen wound, skin torn. cut across his right palm from grabbing a sword. stab wound in his left side.
Equipment: Starting equipment + one paring knife from the kitchen
